A hike in the Rocky Mountains

Jen and I spent most of the day on Saturday hiking the mountains West of Boulder with our four dogs. It was a perfect day for a hike - 50 degrees and warm enough that the ice on the trail had turned to slush and the slush had turned to mud. I brought home two tired and very muddy dogs. After a bath, they crashed out in the livingroom and I was able to get some work done to prepare for the classes I'm teaching this semester.

The brothers look very pretty together, how neat that they live by you. That looks like a great hike and the pictures are gorgous. Sage looks like a very happy dog on the hike.

What a great place to hike, well except maybe the mud. But nothing's perfect. Diana

I can't believe those trails were so dry on Sat. I'll have to give them a try on Friday. But I usually start at Chatauqua so maybe those aren't quite melted yet.
