This is how my dogs spend their time when not competing in agility trials

They stare off into far vistas while posing so majestically against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.
Stalking prey for that next meal.
More stalking...
Uh... can I have a private moment here to roll in the snow.

Aaaah that feels so good.

Is this what they mean by Spring Thaw?

Time to sneak up and POUNCE on Sage!

THE END.

Great shots, especially that first one. If you positioned Sage just right, you might get her to actually blend into the background.

Great photos, dogs and scenery look fab. In England we grind to a halt if we have snow for a few days and it looks like you have it for months!

I love the Mesa Trail. Hopefully we'll finally get a nice weekend and we can get some hiking in.

those pictures are gorgeous! Your dogs look like they are very happy between agility trials!

I have to say, I love hiking in the mountains with my dogs every bit as much as competing in agility. Can't compare the two activities - they are very different - but I think both are important in dogs' lives and provide a balance.

Christine, we had a heavy Spring snowfall for two days prior to that hike. The pics were taken on Sunday. Today there is no snow and temps were 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
But still lot's of snow in the mountains!
