Puppies!

In the middle of the night on Tuesday, May 25th, four Sheltie puppies were born. Three girls and one boy.
Momma and pups are doing well.

Here is a video of the little boy...

I've only seen two short little videos of the boy yet I'm in love with him already. How can that be?

A friend and I are leaving early tomorrow morning for a three-day AKC trial in Amarillo, Texas. This will be the first road trip without Sage. I know she'll be happy she's not going (she hates car rides) but I will miss her.

I will post pictures of the puppies soon. In addition to the sire being a former member of the U.S. World Team. I found out that a half sister and cousin of the mom are on this year's world teams for the FCI World Championships. One on the U.S. team and one on the Canadian team. Very cool.

I opened up my blog page and I clicked open another blog. But right when I did that I saw yours with the "puppies" title. I closed the other one and opened yours. What a sweet little guy. I love that there is no white on the face. Sound like he comes from a great background. Have a nice weekend. Diana

Mom saw me on the internet when I was 4 weeks old and fell in love immediately! So we totally understand!

Good luck this weekend!

Are those Joy's puppies? I know she was expecting some this week. So very cute, I hope she brings them to class when they're older like she did last time.

I have been wondering and wondering how the puppy watch was coming along, but I did not want to ask. When I looked at the blog list today and saw the title of your post I could hardly wait to read your post. Wow, these sound like they will be AWESOME puppies, how do they pick the puppies for each person, are you hoping for a boy or a girl? WOW, how exciting for you, looks like there are some terrific puppy cuddles in your future....start making sure your shoes are picked up, LOL and catch up on your sleep now, hahahahahahahah. PS, I have always said you need to wait until the dogs are older to see personality to pick your pup, but Breeze and Cricket were the ones I picked on the day they were born, it was not official I was getting them until Breeze was 6 weeks old and Cricket was 8 weeks old, but I definitely think you can just get a feeling and know right away!
good luck at your trial, have a fantastic time.

Elayne, yes this is Keen's puppies. If she brings them to class, make sure you give my boy a big hug.

Kathy, I only want a boy. When Summit was born, there were only two boys and the breeder was keeping one so I got the other boy (Summit). I think it all works out in the end.
